# Automotive AI Programme FAQs | Zero to Sixty Lab Source: https://zerotosixtylab.com/questions/ QUESTIONS / PRACTICAL DETAILS Know what you’re getting into. Here are the details teams usually need before deciding whether to start. If your question isn’t here, send me a note. 07 / BEFORE WE START A few practical questions. Can students or interns take part?+ I’m exploring a university pathway for supervised dealer-group projects. We’d need to agree the placement with the institution and host first. Explore the talent pathway. Who needs to be on our team?+ Someone who owns the business problem and someone who can build between sessions. That can be the same person. On our first call, we’ll talk about their experience and the time they have available. How technical is the programme?+ We’ll be designing, building and testing a prototype. Leaders learn how to direct and assess that work; builders get into the technical detail with me. We start from your team’s current experience. Will you build the system for us?+ Your team does the building. I help you work out the approach, review what you’ve made and teach the skills needed for the next step. If you need additional development support, we can discuss that separately. What can we expect after 90 days?+ We work toward a tested prototype, a record of what it can and can’t do, and a plan for what comes next. Testing may show it’s worth piloting, needs more work or isn’t the right approach. A production system or financial return isn’t guaranteed. What is the investment?+ Let’s talk about the project and the help your team needs first. I’ll then set out the scope and fee so you can decide whether to go ahead. How are data, IP and access handled?+ We agree ownership, confidentiality, tools and access before starting. We can begin with made-up examples or an approved sample. Please leave customer records and confidential material out of your first enquiry. Can mentoring continue after the programme?+ Yes, subject to availability. We can agree ongoing reviews around the next problems your team wants to work through. What should we bring to the first call? Tell me what keeps getting stuck, who deals with it and what you’d like to change. If you know who could build and test, tell me that too. A few lines are enough. Please leave out customer records, passwords and confidential documents. Send me a note or email steve.southin@zerotosixtylab.com. START WITH A CONVERSATION Tell me what you’re working on. A few lines about the problem and your team are enough to start. We can talk through the rest together. Talk to Stephen Contact: steve.southin@zerotosixtylab.com
