# AI for Vehicle Readiness Workflows | Zero to Sixty Lab Source: https://zerotosixtylab.com/automotive/vehicle-readiness/ AUTOMOTIVE / VEHICLE READINESS Why is this vehicle still waiting? Your used-car manager needs to know what’s holding a vehicle up. The answer may be spread across a recon record, a message and a conversation nobody wrote down. Pick one handoff. Start with something specific, such as getting a vehicle ready for photography. Ask the manager to walk you through recent vehicles, including one that took longer than expected. What needed to happen first? Who knew it was done? Where did the status stop matching the work? Write down what “ready” means before building anything. Try it on a small set of records. With an approved sample, build a prototype that lists the missing steps and who needs to follow up. A rule can check for a sign-off; AI might help interpret a free-text note. Have someone who knows the vehicles check every answer. Keep uncertain cases visible so the manager knows where to look more closely. Check whether the manager can use it. Did it find the right blocker? Did it miss one, or send someone chasing a task that was already finished? How long did it take to prepare and check the list? If it helps, we can plan a limited pilot. If the records are the problem, improving how they’re captured may be the more useful next step. Any integration or production work needs its own scope. We can work through this together. This is an example of a project we could explore in the 90-day programme. Your team builds it, with my teaching and review along the way. We use Intent-to-System Engineering to keep the tests connected to the job.
